Ticket options

  • Presenting Sponsor (1 Gratis Team) — $3,000.00
  • Event Sponsor — $1,000.00
  • Event Sponsor — $500.00
  • Event Sponsor — $250.00
  • Team Play — $300.00

The Basics

  • No experience necessary. Just come and have fun.
  • Teams of 2–6 people (single individuals can also play).
  • 24-team maximum.
  • 3 rounds of play. Teams will open 150 to 200 Pull Tabs per team each round of the event.
  • Teams must participate in all 3 rounds.
  • $100 team buy-in per round, used to purchase Pull Tabs ($300 total).
  • The team with the most points from Pull Tabs after each round wins an additional 100 cash bonus points.
  • Overall champion is the team with the most cumulative points from Pull Tabs over all 3 rounds.
  • Top 5 places receive payouts.

Point Calculation

  • Pull Tabs will have some Instant Winners. For example, if a $10 Instant Winner appears on a Pull Tab, you receive 10 points. If a $100 Instant Winner appears, you receive 100 points.
  • Pull Tabs will have some Holders. If the word HOLD appears on one or several Pull Tabs, you receive 100 points for each HOLD. Four Pull Tabs that say HOLD would be worth 400 points.
  • After opening all Pull Tabs, the team totals all of its points. Using the examples above, the team would add 10 points, 100 points, and 400 points for a total of 510 points.
  • All 24 teams will be ranked based on their total points. The team with the highest number of points is ranked in first place, followed by the others.
  • The first-place team in each round receives an extra 100 points to add to its total.
  • After all 3 rounds are complete, teams are ranked from highest number of points to lowest.

Other Rules

  • All players must stay seated or gathered around their table while opening the Pull Tabs.
  • After each round, teams count their points and write their score on their scorecard.
  • All Pull Tabs should be sorted by denomination.
  • When teams have totaled their points, they must raise their hand so a tournament official can verify the totals. After verification, the Pull Tabs will be destroyed.
  • Spots are limited to the first 24 registered teams.
  • Teams must register in advance to reserve a place in the tournament.
